AMAZING SPIDER-MAN CLASSIC NEWSPAPER COMICS 1981

Clover Press and The Library of American Comics’ new deluxe softcover slipcase series, collecting all of Marvel’s The Amazing Spider-Man classic newspaper comics. Each volume collects a full year of newspaper strips, from January 1 through December 31. Every edition is printed in an 11” x 8.5” landscape format softcover book that slides into a vertically oriented die-cut slipcase! The Amazing Spider-Man returns with more thrilling newspaper strip adventures, brought to life by Stan Lee and illustrated by Larry Lieber and Fred Kida! Each strip is reprinted just as readers experienced them nationwide, with the full-color Sunday pages integrated with the dailies! 1981 puts Peter Parker through the wringer as Spider-Man battles Doctor Octopus to protect Aunt May, confronts a scientist’s deadly humanoid robots, and faces a madman with seemingly telekinetic powers. The year also introduces the Spider-Brigade, a group of citizens inspired by Spidey’s heroics to defend their city!
