Clover Press and The Library of American Comics’ new deluxe softcover slipcase series, collecting all of Marvel’s The Amazing Spider-Man classic newspaper comics. Each volume collects a full year of newspaper strips, from January 1 through December 31. Every edition is printed in an 11” x 8.5” landscape format softcover book that slides into a vertically oriented die-cut slipcase! The sixth year of The Amazing Spider-Man newspaper strip continues with more excitement from Stan Lee and artist Fred Kida! Each strip is reprinted just as readers experienced them nationwide, with the full-color Sunday pages integrated with the dailies! Picking up immediately from the previous year, Peter Parker finds himself on an investigative trip to Latveria, where Doctor Doom has captured a flying saucer and plans to use its secrets to take over the world! Then, back home, Spidey contends with the bizarre craze of Spidey Jeans sweeping the city, tangles with quirky socialite Muffy Ainsworth, and faces the return of old flame Tana as past sparks collide with explosive danger!
