Re-releasing the classic comic series in a larger format, with never-before-seen archival illustrations and scans. Recently adapted for an animated Netflix miniseries, "Asterix and the Big Fight" is one of the most beloved stories of the fearless Gaul battling supposedly unbeatable odds to protect his tiny village from the Roman Empire. Now the story gets new prestige treatment with illuminating commentary and insights into the original story and illustrations. The Romans are beginning to wise up! Instead of trying to conquer Asterix’s village, the Romans challenge Vitalstatistx, chief of Asterix’s tribe, to a "Big Fight" -- a one-on-one battle with the Gallo-Roman Chief, Cassius Ceramix of Linoleum. The loser forfeits his entire tribe to the winner! It should be an easy fight with Vitalstatistx's super strength -- but the Romans have a plan for that, too. Get ready for an all-out Gaulish brawl!
