ABOUT
TROUBLE IN PARADISE! After singlehandedly saving the universe from enslavement, Barbarella and Vix are ready for a little R&R — and what better place to unwind than one of the galaxy’s most decadent pleasure planets? Unfortunately for them, they’re about to learn that not all leisure worlds are created equal — in fact, some are downright unreal! Meanwhile, in another quadrant of the galaxy, something is off with Earth’s oldest and most venerable colony — and it’s a problem that only Barbarella’s uniquely well-rounded skills can resolve. But will the Siren of the Spaceways be able to escape the golden cage that is Planet V in time to intervene? Find out in this first volume of Barbarella’s all-new adventures from the acclaimed creative team of writer BLAKE NORTHCOTT (Vampirella, Catwoman) and artist ANNA MOROZOVA (Judge Dredd, 2000 AD) and ERIC BLAKE. Barbarella: Stardust and Subversion collects Barbarella (2024) #1-5 and features a complete cover gallery from some of the finest artists in the known universe!
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
