ABOUT
Welcome to DC's NEXT LEVEL — bold, creator-forward new series starring fan-favorite characters, and helmed by some of the best talent in comics!
Kate Kane has spent her life outrunning a destiny she never chose, a prophecy tied to a fanatical religion devoted to the end of all things. Now, that destiny has come calling.
As Batwoman wages war against the deadly Dark Faith and billionaire Milo Gores, the line between hero and hunter begins to blur. With her father racing to save her and Renee Montoya, the Question, seeking the truth, Kate finds herself spiraling deeper into a conflict that may cost her everything.
Eisner Award-winning writer Greg Rucka returns to Kate Kane, this time alongside visionary artist DaNi, for a bold new chapter that pushes Batwoman to the next level, and forces her to confront the darkness within.
Collects Batwoman #1-6, part of DC’s bestselling Next Level line.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
