ABOUT
Jae Han and his friends (aka the Library Avengers) are excited about the school play, an original musical based on the work of their favorite comics artist, Park Seon Woo. As the gang decides which parts they want to audition for, Jae Han is content to do the makeup, with a little inspiration from the glamorous Donutella Hamachi—superhero AND makeup executive. But his friends convince Jae Han to go for the main role of the nonbinary Uri. Unfortunately, Pixie Rupelle, your typical nightmarishly talented and precocious theatre kid, is determined to get the part. And if she doesn’t, Jae Han will have her ruthless mother, aka the KraKaren, to deal with.
With its signature mix of comic panels and text, this next book in the Donutella Hamachi series delivers another empowering tale of friendship, community, self-confidence, and standing up to bullies.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
