ABOUT

A wild adventure begins when a charming orc con artist convinces an orphaned fae that she could be the kingdom’s lost princess, launching them both on a dangerous mission with found family, a flying pirate ship, and steamy romance.

Clove has no idea where she’s from or who her family is. As a young fae, she woke up with no memories and a killer injury to her wing. Since then, she’s worked at various taverns, saving money and getting closer to Wingspire City with her adorable feathered companion, Goosebug. Now, finally with enough savings, she’s ready to say goodbye to her past and find her future.

Jayce, a charming and handsome orc, is used to being scrappy. He’s currently on the run from a notorious crime lord he borrowed money from and, okay, yes, never paid back. But his current predicament fades away when he finds the girl he’s been looking for—a fae who could pose as the missing princess. This con, and the huge reward, has been on his bucket list for a while now, but when Jayce meets the feisty Clove, he knows it won’t be easy.

Clove has never felt so alive, sneaking onto moving trains and soaring through the clouds on a magical pirate ship. Despite her better judgment, she’s beginning to trust Jayce—he’s so certain she’s the missing princess, and she desperately wants him to be right. But will she ever be able to say goodbye?

As they draw closer to the castle and each other, they must confront the truth, the past, and the passion brewing between them.

STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS

Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.

In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.

The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.

PRODUCT TYPES

Comic book enthusiasts have various formats to choose from when collecting their favorite stories.
Here's a brief overview of the main types:

Omnibus

  • Large, hardcover collections
  • Usually contain complete runs or extensive story arcs

  • Higher price point, often €100-€150

Oversized Hardcover (OHC)

  • Similar dimensions to omnibus, but thinner
  • Collect shorter runs or story arcs
  • Usually 300-600 pages
  • Priced between €30-€50

Hardcover (HC)

  • Standard-sized hardcover books
  • Collect 6-12 issues typically
  • Similar dimensions to single issues, but with a hard cover
  • Priced around €25-€35

Trade Paperback (TP)

  • Softcover collections
  • Standard comic book size
  • Usually collect 4-6 issues
