ABOUT
When you feel too hot or too cold, it’s your brain’s job to send signals to your body to keep your temperature just right—by sweating (cooling you off) or shivering (moving your body to warm you up). But what makes things hot or cold? And what is temperature, exactly? Curl up in your climate-controlled corner and explore the extremes of heat and cold found on our planet and in outer space, while discovering what a difference just a single degree of temperature change can make. Then take in the mind-bending ways that temperature is being used and studied in STEAM industries today, from quantum computers that use superconductors at super-low temperatures to innovative research that takes a cue from the sun as it looks at fusion ignition as a potential source of energy around the world.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
