ABOUT
From Superman, the Flash, the Legion of Super-Heroes, and more, Mark Waid wrote across the entire DC Universe. Now, for the first time, his epic stewardship of the JLA comes together in one massive omnibus.
This volume includes iconic moments that helped define a generation of comics, including the seminal retelling of the JLA’s founding, the formation of the Flash and Green Lantern’s unbreakable bond of friendship, how the Batman took down the entire League by himself, the Queen of Fables’ nightmarish assault, and more!
JLA by Mark Waid Omnibus collects The Flash & Green Lantern: The Brave and the Bold #1-6; JLA #18-21, #32-33, #46-58, and #60; JLA Secret Files #3; JLA: Heaven’s Ladder; JLA: A Midsummer’s Nightmare #1-3; and JLA: Year One #1-12.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
