On Monday, Mission Berg’s grandma died. On Wednesday, she appeared in his bedroom to explain that she and Mish have the ability to jump around in time.


What Grandma doesn’t explain is how any of it works, or why Mish is in a lot of danger until he learns how to control his abilities. Mish is already struggling with figuring out who he is and just trying to survive middle school.


Time travel is not going to make his life easier.

Sure enough, Mish accidentally sends two threatening bullies somewhere else in time. Suddenly everyone is convinced there’s a kidnapper on the loose, and Mish is questioned by the police. Even if he wanted to get the bullies back, which is a complicated question on its own, he has no idea where—or even when—they are. Mish has to find some answers fast if doesn’t want his life—as in, his past, present, and future—to get any messier.
