ABOUT
Jessica Fletcher, Seth Hazlitt and Maureen and Mort Metzger team up for pub trivia and crush the competition, then are stunned to learn that the prize is a chance to appear in a trivia tournament filming in Los Angeles. It’s an exciting opportunity to visit the Hollywood locations of their favorite mystery shows—and to catch up with Jessica’s niece Victoria, who is renovating the estate belonging to the once glamorous screen star Danielle Gray. To Victoria’s embarrassment, Miss Gray insists on pressing Jessica to solve the mystery of what—or who—is haunting her grand manor. . . but then the tournament kicks off and a crew member is murdered.
Was the motive personal—or an act of sabotage? The investigation takes Jessica and her friends all over town, where they discuss how Columbo, Monk, or Rockford might go about solving the case, until Jessica not only unmasks a killer but solves Miss Gray’s not-at-all trivial mystery.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
