Each button in Nanna’s tin prompts the sharing of a memory in a welcoming story captured in warm, expressively detailed illustrations.

Nanna’s button tin is very special. It holds buttons of all shapes and sizes, and they all have a different story to tell. When her granddaughter shakes all the buttons onto the floor and starts to sort, she finds a tiny yellow circle that was on the baby jacket she wore home from the hospital, as Nanna remembers. She sees a button shaped like a bear, from a sweater that Nanna knit for her when she turned three. There’s even a sparkly green button from the dress that Nanna had on when she first met Pop. But today, one button in particular is needed, a button that must be just the right size and right shape: a button for Teddy.

Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.

In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
