ABOUT
IRL love is an impossible game for aspiring mangaka Uehara-kun and Miyamoto-san. Neither of them has the romantic experience to be able to write a realistic romantic comedy, so now they’re living it instead—by pretending to date each other!
But matters are complicated by the arrival of Uehara-kun’s ultra-cute childhood friend, Love-chan, now a shonen mangaka wunderkind. And Miyamoto-san’s dreamboat mentor, best-selling shojo mangaka Yumemigasaki-sensei, is making Uehara-kun feel inadequate in every way. Will Uehara-kun and Miyamoto-san be able to declare their feelings, or will too many mangaka spoil the plot?
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
