ABOUT
Things have been quiet for the Lightseekers since they have returned from their quest to find the fathomed Lake of Light. But Finn and his sister Lydia are feeling restless, eager for Ehrit to fulfill his promise to help them find and reunite with their mother—a woman who they only have a song and a clay rabbit to remember her by.
As the shadows continue to deepen and the General’s lies further consume the Kingdom of Wildfel, Ehrit proposes a new quest: To collect seeds of light from the Morning Tree and plant gardens that will begin to reverse the deadly effects of the Great Betrayal and bring back the rightful king’s reign.
But following Ehrit has already cost Finn one relationship he held dear, and as the darkness against them ramps up in the form of a new weapon, Finn will have to decide what else he’s willing to sacrifice to confront the shadows in the kingdom—and in himself.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
