ABOUT
PAWS is bigger and better than ever! With three new (boy) members and multiple new pups, it’s safe to say they are working like dogs.
Nobody has more balls in the air than newly elected PAWS President, Mindy. Not only has she decided to take on training a classmate’s out-of-control puppy and help plan the perfect proposal for her mother, she’s also preparing herself to leave middle school—and Gabby and Hazel—behind. But with only a year before the two younger girls would join her at the local high school anyway, Mindy is confident that PAWS will continue with business as usual.
All that changes when Mindy learns about an opportunity to apply for a special art program in a different district. Getting to focus more on her budding love of art would be amazing, but going to such a faraway school could spell the end for PAWS or even her friendships. Not wanting to worry anyone unnecessarily, she decides not to tell the other girls until she knows if she got in. But with her new dog’s training in ruff shape and a whole portfolio to complete in secret, has Mindy bitten off a bit more than she can chew?
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
