They lived with the Tauruti tribe for a long time, until exploring a ruined temple, they were attacked and killed by a tribe called the Jhibuti – whose chief Upatani took the girl Taanda and raised her as his own! She grew up protecting the people and animals from poachers, monsters and witch doctors using her powers and abilities – she was as fast as any beast and as strong as a man. And could swing through the tree like a monkey and often rode a zebra over long distances. She was skilled with a bow, spear and knife.
