ABOUT
Bring the historic run to a close with Blackhawk Volume 21, the final instalment in PS Artbooks’ complete collection of this legendary series. This concluding volume gathers issues #105–107, presenting the last high-flying adventures of the fearless Blackhawk Squadron in fully restored detail. As the curtain falls, the action remains as daring as ever—jet-fuelled pursuits, perilous missions behind enemy lines, and the unshakeable camaraderie that defined the team from the very beginning. These final stories capture the enduring spirit of the original series, blending wartime drama with the bold, dynamic storytelling that made Blackhawk a cornerstone of classic adventure comics. In addition to the final three issues, this special volume includes a comprehensive gallery of all 107 covers, meticulously restored to the highest quality. From the earliest wartime imagery to the striking later-era designs, the complete cover collection offers a vivid visual history of one of comics’ most recognisable titles. A fitting finale for collectors and fans alike, Blackhawk Volume 21 stands as both the end of an era and a celebration of the enduring legacy of one of comics’ great aviation heroes.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
