ABOUT
Funeral cakes are the final gift from the living to their departed loved ones—and the only comfort on the deceased’s journey to rebirth.
Baker Margot and her ghostly assistant Miro make one-of-a-kind funeral cakes to sustain their clients’ loved ones through the plains of purgatory so they can safely reach reincarnation. The ingredients in the cakes are inspired by memories of the dearly departed.
In this final volume, Mira, a snake woman whose left eye turns all who gaze into it to stone, attempts to recreate a special recipe for a classmate named Sena, after the two shared a whirlwind encounter. While helping to recreate the unique dish, Margot reminisces about the first time she visited Earth, and the young woman who showed her the beauty of humanity.
From author Sanho comes the tender conclusion to the Eisner Award-nominated manhwa series.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
