ABOUT
The Tree of the Dead haunts the nightmares of all who reside in Sleepy Hollow, but Ichabod, Katrina, Lotte, and their friends find themselves standing in its shadows once again, gathering the remains of yet another body. They hoped the tree would hold some answers, but instead they have more questions when Masbath stumbles upon a circle of gravestones marked with the names Fortuna, Masbath, Dale, and Van Tassel. Why are these unkempt graves so far outside of town? Who would bury their loved ones so close to such a horrible sight?
While Masbath and Maggie investigate, Lotte is struggling to return to herself after being possessed. She’s hearing whispers. Of digging, of the softest dark, of thirst. The whispers are leading her in circles and circles and circles…
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
