ABOUT
Roll a die, cast yourself in the scene, and find out if you and your friends can survive encounters with Dracula, King Tut’s curse, El Chupacabra, and other legendary terrors in this thrilling deck of original one/shot RPGs. It’s a dark and stormy night . . . and the perfect time to play your way through classic horror stories. In this easy/to/learn role/playing game, you and your party can expect instant action, eerie atmosphere, and, if you choose, ultimate evisceration. This box set includes 32 heart/pumping, imagination/firing role/playing scenarios, each featuring an iconic monster or frightful setting from gothic literature, folklore, or film. Uncover the truth of the Mothman, outwit the infamous Jack the Ripper, or try to survive the sinister plot of Dr. Caligari. While the body count may stack up, starting a game is as bloodless as randomly pulling a card from the box. All you need is a six/sided die and up to six willing participants, and you’re ready for your next chilling adventure!
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
