Deep in outer space, past the horseshoe nebula and the comet that looks like a duckie, live the secret heroes of the outer galaxies: the Space Mermaids! Their mission? Protect the cosmos from danger.

And then...there's Oort. While her sisters like to use their strength to solve the galaxy's issues, Oort prefers to think problems through and come up with a solution that works for everyone.

But when stinky, discarded trash invades the entire galaxy, the Space Mermaids are faced with their most difficult dilemma yet! They can't launch the litter back into outer space, but luckily Oort's thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach is here to save the day.
