Forced to fight on the front lines against the Demon Blight as a penal hero, Xylo is able to narrowly escape his predicament by forming a contract with the Goddess of Swords, Teoritta. But to Xylo, this serves as his second contract formed with a goddess…and a stark reminder of his time as a captain of the Holy Knights. There is no time to rest, however, as Xylo receives his next mission and heads toward the blighted mines with the other members of his penal hero unit. Upon arrival, they find that mutated creatures are not the only things waiting for them! There’s no choice but to fight for survival! When there are no more ideals left to fight for, an undying rage must drive him forward!
