ABOUT
Setting off to hike from Georgia to Maine, Peter Ash is hoping a long walk in the woods will soothe his troubled soul.
But after a chance encounter with a suspicious older hiker in Tennessee, Peter has more questions than answers. The old man wants Peter to mind his own business, but Peter can’t stand by and watch a senior citizen get mugged by two gun-toting goons.
It quickly becomes clear that the old man is not a normal retiree. Soon, Peter finds himself pursued by a team of assassins, wanted by the law, and on the run with an injured victim who has been hiding from a lifetime of secrets that are fast catching up with him.
When Peter reunites the old man with his well-armed former lover, he can’t tell who is the bigger threat – the people he’s running from, or the people he’s trying to save. Peter must call on his friend Lewis and his girlfriend June Cassidy to help him stay alive and discover the truth behind the secrets.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
