ABOUT
Shermy takes his time and thinks things through, while his best friend, Shake, likes to jump in with both feet. But like peanut butter and sweet pickles, the two boys go together perfectly. Whether it’s crafting leprechaun traps, going to Camp Hootie Hoot with the Owl Scouts, or tackling the school talent show (Shake wants to perform, but Shermy would prefer to cheer from the audience), they bring out the best in each other—even when things are tough. When Shermy’s dog Wally escapes from the yard, Shake comes running to help Shermy search everywhere. And when Shake is nervous about meeting his new baby sister at the hospital, Shermy shows him how to hold her safely. Humor, worry, and excitement flavor a series of charming adventures in the fourth and final kid’s-eye-view installment of this delightful series.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
