ABOUT

The Avian Adventurers are back! Birdwatching is never boring with Michael and Jet involved. This time they fight construction that might destroy the woods where yellow warblers live.

An adventurous read for 7-to-10-year-olds about forging long-lasting friendships in this chapter book series about a junior birdwatching club.

In the second book in the Avian Adventurers series, Michael and Jet discover that developers are planning to destroy a piece of land where yellow warblers are nesting. They are also concerned that brood parasite cowbirds have laid eggs in the warblers' nests, possibly affecting the songbirds' babies once all the eggs hatch.

Michael and Jet work together—even though Michael is healing from a soccer injury—to stop the construction and fight to save the birds and the woods. At the same time, they learn even more about how nature works and why humans shouldn't interrupt animal species' natural behaviors.

STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS

Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.

In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.

The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.

Hardcover (HC)

  • Standard-sized hardcover books
