ABOUT
Elle was born with gift of speaking to animals but also the curse of having feathers on her face. With no family and a crow as her only companion, she's an outcast in her village. Frustrated and fed up with relentless taunting from the local children, Elle finally decides to seek the advice of a wise old tree spirit who tells her to journey into the woods in search of the witch Savin, who may be able to break her curse once and for all.
Soon after she sets off, Elle runs into a mysterious traveler with a curse of his own. Pedro tells a wary Elle that despite looking like a frog, he is actually the human prince of a nearby kingdom. Finally in the company of someone who can understand him, he begs Elle to let him join her quest for a cure.
With an unsteady alliance in place, these two outcasts begin an epic journey destined to bring them face to face with a ferocious giant, a callous king, the mythical race of elves, and their own true natures. This classic story about the power of friendship and acceptance beats with a fierce heart and sings with hope.
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
