Hiram, the strongest demon king in history and ruler over all of demonkind, refused to obey the demon god’s demand for sacrifices. A fierce battle ensued, which ended with Hiram losing his life. Five centuries later, Hiram successfully reincarnates himself as a young human with his magical powers intact.

Soon after defeating the fragment of the demon god and saving Philffy, Hiram learns that Demon Queen Irmgard has been imprisoned following a coup d’etat. The rebel leader has reportedly resumed the practice Hiram abolished of sacrificing one hundred subjects per day to the demon god. Now, in order to save demonkind and prevent the demon god from being resurrected through these sacrifices, Hiram sets out to rescue Irmgard.
