ABOUT
Edo burns to the ground sending the Japanese economy into turmoil. The gap between the land owners and the lower classes widens but crafty farmer Shosuke has some ideas. He works diligently to unite the outcasts and farmers knowing full well that the only ones benefitting from their ongoing conflicts are the wealthy. Shosuke, with the help of an eager community, reclaims land, fixes irrigation and fights to make a more prosperous way of life for everyone.
In this lauded series, considered the greatest comics epic in manga history, we see Shirato Sanpei reach his full potential as he combines his love of history with real human socialist politics. The Legend of Kamui is the great historical comic that influenced all that came after.

STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
