ABOUT

An archetype-based roadmap for Highly Sensitive People to reclaim their sensitivity as their greatest strength.

Are you the friend everyone confides in but no one checks on? Do you mentally replay conversations like it’s an Olympic sport? Are you often told you’re “too sensitive”? If you’re a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), too often your sensitivity is seen as a challenge to overcome. But what if we simply need to learn how to harness these “weaknesses” as our greatest superpowers?

In The Power of Sensitivity, founder of the Not Too Sensitive Club and fellow HSP Alissa Boyer introduces her signature Sensitive Archetypes to help us identify our unique set of gifts and roadblocks. Drawing on her work as a coach and her own experience as an HSP, Boyer shows how people-pleasing, anxiously observing, and being sensitive to others’ emotions can be transformed into superpowers including emotional intelligence, intuition, and empathy. Boyer offers the tools to break self-sabotaging patterns and finally stop seeing yourself as “too much.”

Through intimate stories, practical advice, and “OMG, that’s me” moments, you will:

  • find your unique HSP strength and shadow archetypes;
  • stop cycles of spiraling and build self-trust;
  • break free from shadows like people-pleasing and overthinking;
  • regulate emotional overwhelm without shutting down; and
  • embrace your sensitivity with confidence and become your most unshakable self.

Deeply validating and warm, The Power of Sensitivity offers a radical message: You’re not too sensitive. Your sensitivity is your inner superpower.

STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS

Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.

In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.

The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.

PRODUCT TYPES

Comic book enthusiasts have various formats to choose from when collecting their favorite stories.
Here's a brief overview of the main types:

Omnibus

  • Large, hardcover collections
  • Usually contain complete runs or extensive story arcs
  • Typically 800-1000+ pages
  • Higher price point, often €100-€150

Oversized Hardcover (OHC)

  • Similar dimensions to omnibus, but thinner
  • Collect shorter runs or story arcs
  • Usually 300-600 pages
  • Priced between €30-€50

Hardcover (HC)

  • Standard-sized hardcover books
  • Collect 6-12 issues typically
  • Similar dimensions to single issues, but with a hard cover
  • Priced around €25-€35

Trade Paperback (TP)

  • Softcover collections
  • Standard comic book size
  • Usually collect 4-6 issues
  • Most affordable option, typically €15-€25

Other Formats
