The core on Eve’s staff has shattered, rendering her unable to channel her powers. To find a replacement, she and Snoozy travel back to the Forest of Scraps to retrieve powerful magical materials from Snoozy’s remains. During their journey, Snoozy reveals to his young charge a forbidden truth spoken of in draconic legend, which centers on a village where dragons are locked in eternal conflict with witches who have placed curses on them.
