ABOUT
Whether your great-greats spoke Yiddish, you want a fresh new shtick, or you just love dogs, you're going to want to meet Toby!
Toby is a mensch, which means he's a very good boy. He loves noshing on eggs, schmoozing with new friends, and plotzing after a schlep in the park. His humans are always kvelling: they love him very much!
There's never been a fuzzier, cheerier ambassador for the many Yiddish loanwords that liven up our daily conversations. Anyone who's ever had a dog in their mishpocheh—their family—won’t be able to resist Toby and all his foibles.
At the back, read more about the history of Yiddish, and find a handy pronunciation guide!
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
