ABOUT
In July 2023, Taylor Swift played a sold-out show in Kansas City, Missouri, on a stop for her record-breaking Eras Tour. Before the show, NFL Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce partook in the fan ritual of making friendship bracelets to share and trade at the concert, but Travis’s bracelet did not have lyrics written on it like the other fans. He wanted to give Taylor a bracelet with his phone number! A few months later, Taylor attended one of Travis’s football games, and the world knew their relationship was going to be something special. Throughout 2023 and 2024, Taylor showed her spirit for Travis’s team, and Travis traveled across the world with Taylor on her Eras Tour.
In 2025, Taylor made her podcast debut to announce the release of her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, alongside Travis and his brother, Jason. While Taylor, Travis, and Jason discussed football, music, and sourdough bread, Travis had his garden filled with roses and other flowers so he could surprise Taylor with a proposal! A few weeks later, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram. It was a love story, and Taylor said yes! Swifties and NFL fans can “keep it one hundred” with this Taylor and Travis two-book box set featuring Who Is Taylor Swift? and Who Is Travis Kelce?
STANDARD, PRIMARY, DM AND VARIANT COVERS
Standard and Primary covers are widely available through general retailers. They often have higher print runs and can be cheaper, especially during sales.
In contrast, Direct Market (DM) and variant covers are primarily sold in comic shops. DM editions tend to have more limited availability and may be more valuable to collectors.
The main differences lie in artwork style, availability, price, and collector appeal. Ultimately, the choice between standard and variant covers depends on personal preference, budget, and individual collecting goals.
